items on display,
made and gave away tops and scroll-saw puzzles. The visitors especially
enjoyed Henry’s intriguing puzzles. Everyone participating had a
great time.
Thanks to Doyle, the chairperson, who provides the coordination effort
for this activity and to all the club members who came and helped. It
always provides a good time to visit with your fellow club members and
demonstrate your woodworking skills for those touring the
demonstration area.

learning process. The
workshop was presented by Loyd Ackerman.
This was a hands-on workshop covering the steps in design through cut
list for creating a Segmented Vessel. Loyd’s discussion and video
demonstrations showed participants how to cut the segments, make the
rings, and assemble and turn the vessel. The participants left prepared
to go to their shop to create their first masterpiece.
Thanks to Loyd for his great presentation.
“Shop Tour” season is nearly over. Clean up
your shop because your shop may be on the next tour.
