Vol.11 / Issue 12      Tennessee Valley Woodworkers                              Editor, Richard Gulley           December 1996

This may be the shortest Splinters you’ve seen in a while. We just wanted to remind you of the annual Christmas party and make sure everyone knew the location. First the nitty gritty details. The affair is definitely casual. (The lack of dress code will be strictly enforced. That’s means be comfortable). The meal will be covered dish. The club will furnish drinks, plates, and napkin type stuff. The rest of us will bring our favorite foods and goodies. (Editor’s note: While low calorie and other health-oriented foods are not prohibited, they are discouraged - after all it’s Christmas). This festive occasion will convene at 5:30 PM on December the 7th and every attempt will be made to begin the meal at 6:00. The location is the fellowship ball at the Decherd Church of the Nazarene. As an added bonus, we’re hoping John Sargent and other musician friends will furnish the entertainment for the evening. Don’t forget to bring your singing voice, for I’m sure there will be songs that require several people of both genders singing simultaneously. Hope to see you there -

This late breaking news from Doyle regarding the regular December meeting. Joe Pollock from the Hands On Science Center in Tullahoma will be making a presentation. He will be showing slides of the center. Sounds interesting. Y’all come.
