clean and restore antique furniture? You’ll get some tips at the Antique
Furniture Seminar conducted by Sotheby’s Restoration March 20-21 at Belle Meade
Plantation. Here’s the schedule: Friday, March 20, 7:30 p.m. Alastair John
Stair, director of Sotheby’s Restoration, will speak on “The Care and
Restoration of Fine Furniture”. A wine
and cheese reception lectures: Cost $15.
Saturday, March 21.9 a.m.
Stair will speak on “English Furniture from Charles II to Regency”; 11 am.

of Sotheby’s will Speak on “American Furniture in the 18th and 19th
Centuries”.
A hands-an furniture work
shop in the afternoon will be limited to 20 participants. It is open to those,
