———A TULLAHOMA GROUP IS PUTTING TOGETHER A “HANDS ON
SCIENCE
CENTER” IN THE OLD TULLAHOMA POST OFFICE. THEY WILL BE
SOLICITING
THE HELP OF FELLOW W00DWORKERS TO FABRICATE VARIOUS
STANDS,
BASES AND SUPPORTS FOR ACTUAL SCIENCE DEMONSTRATIONS. THE
WHOLE
IDEA IS TO LET STUDENTS OF ALL AGES ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE
SCIENTIFIC
PHENOMENA BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PRESET EXPERIMENTS.
THUS
FAR THE GROUP HAS CONTACTED BILL CHEW, JIM VANCLEAVE AND TOM
GILLARD.
INDICATIONS ARE THAT MATERIALS AND SKETCHES WILL BE
FURNISHED
BY THE GROUP. MORE DETAILS WILL BE AVAILABLE AS THE
